Panasonic HX-WA2 First Impressions Review

Panasonic's pistol-gripped HX-WA2 gives the old girl a new paint job, a new sensor, and a layer of waterproofing.

Introduction

Working from a similar pistol-grip design as the aging Sanyo HD2000, Panasonic's HX-WA2 gives the old girl a new paint job, a new sensor, and a layer of waterproofing, but retains the same shoddy construction and floaty controls as the original. Oddly, the HD2000 was one of our top camcorders back in the day, so the WA2 should at least have the potential for excellent image quality.
