Put A Bigger Hard Drive In The Sony HDR-SR1

An enterprising user of the Sony HDR-SR1 camcorder decided to take it apart and see about installing a bigger hard drive. And the scary thing is that it actually seems to be a pretty easy process, involving only removing one screw and no warranty stickers or other unpleasantness. He didn’t install a bigger drive, but Toshiba (who makes the one that is in the SR1) make similar drives that go up to 100GB.  I doubt that Sony will honor the warranty if they figure out what he did, though…
