Register now for the new and improved comment system on CamcorderInfo.com

Starting today, you’ll see a new commenting system on all reviews and news, both past and future. Hopefully, this AJAX system will be a lot simpler and more inviting than the previous system. Here’s a few important things you should know:

1) The new comment system is now completely separate from the message boards. Different logins. Different passwords.

2) This means that everyone will have to create a new login and password to leave comments. We apologize for forcing you to re-register, but the new system is much easier to use and we think that it will be worth it.

3) Signing up is incredibly easy! Far easier than the old VBulletin system. First-time commenters just need to be approved by the moderators. So it may take a little while for your first post to display.

4) No, of course we didn’t throw out all the old comments. They’ve been imported into the new system. But old comments are no longer editable or accessible through your old logins.

5) Spread your voice! The login will work across all of our publications. Some of you are aware of our sibling publications including DigitalCameraInfo.com, WirelessInfo.com, PrinterInfo.com, and HeadphoneInfo.com, as well as Reviewed.com. Your login will work on all of those pages. In fact, we encourage you to visit those other sites if they are areas that interest you, and engage in the community there. A cool new feature on Reviewed.com is the ability to contribute your own reviews. We encourage everyone to go to the camcorder section on Reviewed.com now and write a review of your own camcorder!
