Samsung SC-D365
Camcorder Review

PerformanceIntroduction
Samsung, the fifth stream camcorder manufacturer, has a hard road. The big four companies – Sony, Canon, Panasonic, and JVC – so thoroughly dominate the market for quality that it seems competitors have to resort to tricks or hooks to entice unwary consumers. This is not the case with Samsung, though. The SC-D365 ($399 MSRP) is a pretty standard MiniDV camcorder, free of gimmicks. But five minutes with the product makes it clear why Samsung remains outside the golden halls – poor performance and skimpy manufacturing. You can buy far better than the D365 for the same price.
