Sony’s DCR-HC46 is their middle-of-the-road offering for MiniDV this year. It’s something of a Goldilocks camcorder – not too expensive, not too cheap. Not too skimpy on features, and certainly not too heavy on the features, either. It offers all the convenience that hallmark a Sony, but the video had some drawbacks. Is this camcorder "just right?"
