Sony HC3 Slow Motion Video Examples

The Sony HDR- HC3 has a rather cool feature: it can grab 240 frames of video in 3 seconds, then write them out to tape at the more conventional 29.7 frames per second speed. What this means is that you get slow-motion video: 3 seconds of video stretched out over 12 seconds of video. It’s great for shooting fast-moving subjects, like golf swings or kittens. Here is a short video of some sample clips I captured while reviewing the HC3: you'll need Quicktime installed to view it.
