Video comes to Yellow Pages

Video production and distributor TurnHere partnered with YellowPages.com to offer videos on the online phone book. When the user searches for a business, the user can also click on a supplementary video.   The user can then share the video by embedding the video into other websites. TurnHere is currently partnered with Google, Yahoo!, AOL, and MSN. The TurnHere–Yellow Pages partnership poses an interesting business model for video integration with the reference directory. The two companies haven’t released details about advertising, but there is surely to be a big window of opportunity for video ads to capitalize on this growing online medium.
