VideoEgg stops hosting videos
Posted by Karen M Cheung
The video sharing site VideEgg will no long host videos. Starting on May 31, Videoegg will disable its publishing and player tools. Until then, Videoegg users can playback their videos. To access them, users will have to email partners@videoegg.com. VideoEgg is the powerhouse that fuels AOL Video. In lieu of hosting, VideoEgg is pumping up its online video engagement with ad networking. The company is known for pioneering video overlays, an unobtrusive way of advertising.
