Adobe has announced version 6.5 of it's popular video editing software program, Premiere. Major upgrades include the ability to do real time preview, MPEG-2 Support, and titling functionality to make the creation of titles easier.
Reports say that in the new version of Premiere, all effects and functions can be previewed in real time.
Adobe has also added Adobe Title Designer which acts within Premiere. The program allows the user to create titles with varrying fonts, effects and text sizes.
Adobe Premiere 6.5 is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2002. The full program will cost $549 with upgrades from full Premiere costing $149, and upgrades from Premiere 6.5 LE costing $249.
