Apple has released QuickTime 6.5. The new release adds several improvements, including enhanced DV playback. According to Apple, QuickTime 6.5 offers several new features and feature improvements, and is currently available through Software Update for Mac OS X.

QuickTime 6.5 allows for the creation and playback of both 3GPP2 and AMC mobile formats, improves text track support, enhances DV playback and provides general improvements for iMovie, iDVD and Final Cut Pro.
