ArcSoft Takes the Shakes Out of Digital Video

ArcSoft Inc. announced the January 30, 2004 release of ArcSoft Video Stabilizer, software provides consumers with a simple yet effective way to removes shakes and jitters in home video footage.

’’Video Stabilizer is part of ArcSoft's growing suite of products that provide consumers with cost effective solutions for repairing, creating and enhancing their digital photo and video files," said Todd Rumaner, senior vice president of sales and marketing for ArcSoft. "Today, even video cameras with embedded stabilizing filters don't always eliminate the bumps and shakes from video. Until ArcSoft Video Stabilizer, fixing shaky video wasn't easy or inexpensive.’’

ArcSoft Video Stabilizer has an intuitive user interface designed to be quick and easy to use. Users input video files, preview and select specific segments within the video file using a timeline and preview, and then process and output stabilized video.
