Canopus today announced the latest version of DV Raptor 2 and DV Raptor 2 Power Tools. The package features Canopus' video codec with the addition of real-time input and output of video in Adobe Premiere. DV Raptor Power Tools is a package of real time 3D and 2D video effects for us in Adobe Premiere.
The package includes Canopus' own EzEdit video editing software, their DV capture tool which allows you to capture up to three DV video streams at one time, SoftMPG which allows for easy and fast creation of MPEG-1 and MPEG2 video, and Ulead DVD Workshop SE for creating DVD output of your work.
The software provides the user with 24 real time video effects, and when used in Adobe Premiere, up to 30 layers of titles and graphics. DV Raptor R2 will be available this week for $499, and power tools will also be available this week for $99. As a bundle, the package costs $549.
