Camcorderinfo.com is going to be holding a luncheon at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas - if we get enough people! (We need at least 25 – of course we can always take hundreds!) We'll be giving away free Camcorders for Beginners and free Computer Video for Beginners (over a $50 value) to everyone who attends! It’s going to be a great opportunity to meet and greet all the Camcorderinfo.com supporters, community members and fans. President and Founder of Camcorderinfo.com Robin Liss will be in attendance to talk camcorders and digital video and have a good time! We can debate and discuss camcorders, do comparisons and maybe even answer some questions. To cover the costs of organizing the event we will ask for a $10 fee per person for attending please feel free to bring a friend or a spouse (but they need to pay the $10 fee as well).

We don't expect a ton of people to show up so we haven't booked an entire hotel dining room. In fact, we don't even know when or where it's going to be! If you're attending CES e-mail CES@camcorderinfo.com for what days and times you are available during CES from January 8th to the 12th. We’re looking to hold it some time from 11AM – 1 PM. We need at least 25 people so in your email state how likely (definitely, probably, possibly don’t know) it will be that you will be able to attend. If you do come we’re going to want you to bring your camcorder and if that’s possible – but if you can’t we still want you to attend. Also bring an example tape of some of your work and if we have time we’ll show it – if not maybe we can make a copy of everyone’s work onto a VHS (so everybody bring a 2 min sample of your work and a VHS tape).

We’re going to work extra hard to find a date, a time and a place but in order to do that we need you to reply ASAP. Please, invite your friends. The sooner we get 25 people who’ve confirmed we’ll resend this email with info on the location.

The luncheon will cost $10 per person, not including food - you'll have to pay for your own food – we’ll pick a moderately priced placed, feel free to make a suggestion. The $10 is just to cover the administrative costs and the costs of organizing this thing – we’re not trying to make any profit. We will however be giving away free Camcorders for Beginners and a free Computer Video for Beginners CDs to everyone who comes and wants one. It’s going to be an opportunity for Camcorderinfo.com members to meet, greet and get to know each other. If you are interested and will be at CES or live in the Las Vegas, NV area, or can drive there for the luncheon (which we would love for people in surrounding areas to do – great excuse for a road trip!) please email your dates and times of availability to us at CES@camcorderinfo.com and how likely it is you will be able to attend. Please reply ASAP because we need at least 25 people to start putting this in motion. You can pay with cash when you get to the even or through PayPal (we’ll email you on that later).

Of course, we have to guarantee that if 25 people don't signup the luncheon will be canceled. Anyone who prepaid will get their money back.
