Cyberlink corporation has announced an upgrade to it's flagship DVD authoring tool, PowerDVD XP 4.0. The popular DVD authoring tool has many upgraded features.
Some of the new features in the upgraded version are: DTS Digital Surround Decoder, Dolby Pro Logic II Decoder, SRS TruSurround XT Technology, Multi-Channel MP3 Technology, Virtual Speakers Setting LFE (Bass) Mixer, Dynamic Range Control, Minimized Skin Technology Mouse Scrolling Settings, Enhanced Tool Bar Navigator, Bookmark Import/Export, Auto-Resume Playback, and Adjustable Contrast & Saturation Enhanced Screen Capture.
The product is one of the most versitile video CD/DVD authoring tools available. Using it you can author cDVDs, cdDVDs, miniDVDs, SuperVCDs, Video CD 2.0's and Audio CDs. The product can burn CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs and DVD+RWs.
The company did not release any pricing information however they said the product would be available immediately. They are releasing three version of the software. PowerDVD XP Deluxe with all the features. PowerDVD XP Standard with less audio features and PowerDVD XP Basic with only 2 channel audio output. The first two versions are available for retail and the last version is only available as an OEM product.
