Fuji Reports Stong Camcorder Tape Sales

In what the company says is a sign of camcorder popularity this year, Fuji is reporting strong camcorder tapes sales. The company reported that increased camcorder sales due to decreasing camcorder prices since spring 2001 has led to increased sales of tape.

Fuji sells VHS-C, S-VHS-C, 8mm, Hi8, and MiniDV cassettes in varying lengths. The company reported that over the last nine months sales of tapes was stronger when compared to the same period last year.
