iMovie updated; supports AVCHD, now more of

Posted by Randall Bennett

So far, no big reveals yet from Apple and company, except one: AVCHD is supported in the latest version of iMovie. iMovie is also going more "easy to use" than previous versions, creating a way of editing on the fly.  Also of note, the software sports a video library feature that is more akin to iPhoto than previous versions of iMovie. The software also got a new iCon (sorry, couldn't resist) meaning it's supposed to be a totally different application.

We're still hoping for new MacBooks and MacPros, but we doubt we'll get it.
