The JVC GR-DVF10 uses the MiniDV format which is known to put out great pictures. It retails for $1,199.95. It has all the features of MiniDV like digital audio and 500 lines of resolution. The camcorder has the JLIP interface which can be used in editing. The GR-DVF10 or Cyber Cam as JVC calls it, has a 2.5 color LCD which can help in getting really nice shots. This camcorder can be great for editing, if you buy a optional remote it will let you do basic editing and stop motion animation.
I think this is a really good high quality camcorder, it is good for a person who wants to learn alot about video and wants to do some advanced things. The camera is somewhat small so it is great for trips and vacations. It is also fairly low priced for a MiniDV camcorder and can offer a great buy.
