AVerDVD EZMaker converts analog video to digital video in an "easy-to-use, one-step process." The MSRP is $49.99. The PCI card allows a user to capture video from any analog source, such as an analog camcorder or VCR, and save it onto a PC, DVD or CD with MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 quality and resolution up to 720 x 480.

AverDVD seems to be targetted at the user with large amounts of analog video, such as VHS tapes, concerned about long-term archiving:

"Thousands of people with stacks of VHS tapes, now have an easy and inexpensive way to convert them to DVD," said Kathy Shih, marketing manager of AVerMedia Technologies. "AVerDVD EZMaker has the DVD+VR support giving people the ability to take pre-recorded DVD videos, add or delete clips, and burn the video onto the same disc, without recreating or burning another DVD."

AVerDVD EZMaker comes with neoDVDstandard 4.0 software, making the conversion a one-step process and provides users with the ability to personalize their DVD and perform basic editing functions. The neoDVDstandard program allows users to add titles, transitional effects and background music, as well as import DV, AVI, QuickTime and MPEG files directly into their video project.

AVerDVD EZMaker ships with a PCI card, neoDVDstandard 4.0 Software, an RCA-to-phono jack and its installation guide. System requirements include: a CPU of 1 Gig or higher, Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 or XP, a PCI slot, an audio line-in from a sound card, AGP graphics card with 8MB memory, Microsoft DirectX 8.0 or higher and a CD or DVD burner, necessary to record CDs or DVDs.
