Designed for first-time digital media users, the latest product from SCM's Dazzle brand makes it possible to transfer digital photos and videos to the PC so users can share their memories with family and friends.
Dazzle Fusion includes both video capture capabilities and a digital media reader for multiple types of flash media cards. By connecting one USB cable to a PC, users can transfer digital photos from a camera's digital media card, and videos can be captured from an analog or digital camcorder. Once the photos and videos are captured, users can create Hollywood-style movies and photo slideshows that combine digital images, videos and MP3 files. Dazzle Fusion includes software to burn the final product to Video CD or DVD for playback on a home DVD player. It also allows users to stream the movie or slideshow to family and friends over the Internet via the Dazzle Webcast Theater.
Dazzle Fusion connects to the PC via a standard USB interface and supports Windows 98 SE, 2000, ME and XP operating systems. In addition to RCA video, S-Video and RCA audio ports to input video, Dazzle Fusion has slots for reading all types of digital flash memory cards, including CompactFlash(TM) Type I and II, IBM Microdrive, SmartMedia(TM), SD Card(TM), MultiMediaCard(TM) and Sony Memory Stick. The Fusion comes bundled with MovieStar 5.0, DVD Complete and OnDVD. Retail price is $99, available immediately. For more information visit the Dazzle website.
