MAGIX Video deLuxe 2.0 ($59.99) offers features for creating projects without any prior experience, such as a storyboard interface, drag and drop effects, video restoration, automated chaptering, and a motion stabilizer. For the more experienced video editor, Video deLuxe 2.0 includes complete video editing tools with special audio and video cleaning filters, motion stabilizer, voiceover recording, sound design and dubbing, special effects, transitions, title generator, CD and DVD authoring, MPEG 2 encoder, and a full library of image and sound templates.

With analog and digital capture support, users can import fully synchronized audio and video from analog sources such as a TV or VCR, then complete their creation by adding digital camcorder footage, CD tracks or MP3 music. Editing and applying effects are done in real-time. Cuts, sequence changes, 3D transitions and cross fades can be viewed full-screen, as they are performed, to remove any guesswork. Once the project is complete, the final movie may be burned to CDs or DVDs as movie discs for enjoyment on home DVD players, sent as a video email, or published to a website to share with family and friends.

MAGIX Video deLuxe 2.0Plus ($99.99) has all of the powerful features of the 2.0 version, plus a photo editor for image touch-ups, a music editor for professional quality soundtracks, a synthesizer for creating background sounds and effects, a bonus labelling kit, and an image and sound archive with over 2,400 media files.
