Reveal allows users to search AFter Effects projects for specific text strings and select the type of element to search for, including comps, footage, effects, cameras, layers, solids, masks and lights.
Profound Effects is offering Reveal as "charity ware." Users can download and use the software for free, and, if they like the software, they're encouraged to make a charitable donation. The software can be downloaded now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows at the Profound Effects Web site. The software supports Adobe After Effects 5.5.
