In the beginning was NewTek, the revolutionary company that put desktop video within reach of the masses on the Amiga more than ten years ago. Since then, NewTek has been a leader and innovator in computer-based video production and post.
Recently, NewTek rolled out Genesis™, a new video production system designed from the ground up to meet the unique needs of churches doing live video production. The program includes an eight-input live switcher, titling and graphics software, a video editor, real-time downstream keyer, real time chroma keyer, on-board audio mixer and on-screen video monitors, and the ability to output to a number of different devices and formats, including tape, DVD, and web streaming.
NewTek claims that Genesis is capable of meeting ''the highest demands of broadcast, yet is easy enough for an all-volunteer staff to set up and use.''
