Sony Europe has announced the DCR-IP1 MicroMV camcorder which they are billing as the 'World’s smallest Camcorder for video on the move, anytime, anywhere...the size of a playing card.' The new ultra small camcorder includes a 10x optical zoom, and 1 Megapixel CCD.
The DCR-IP1 includes Sony's new 3D touch screen menu navigation system. For connections the DCR-IP1 includes a docking station. The camcorder includes a new feature which allows you to print pictures to a USB printer with out a computer.
Interesting, the DCR-IP1 also includes an automatic lens cover which seems to be similar to what is included on many still cameras. The DCR-IP1 will be available in Europe in November, however if or when the camcorder will be available in the US is unknown. Pricing information was also not available.
