According to an interview with the New York Times, US Combat Camera Operations captured Saddam Hussein's arrest and medical inspection with a Sony DCR-PD150 DVCAM camcorder.

In an interview with the New York Times Staff Sgt. Wesley Wooten said that the camcorder was the next best thing to BetaCam. The PD150 was used by many television networks during the war in Iraq because of it's ability to deliver quality video in a small package.

The DSR-PD150 is used widely by cable and broadcast networks for situations where they need a light weight portable camcorder. The PD150 was recently replaced with the PD170 (Review, Specs, $2579).
