Sony's has announced a new networked camcorder, the DCR-IP7E that includes Bluetooth, a wireless networking protocol inside that allows it to communicate with Bluetooth enabled cell phones. The Bluetooth attachment allows users to surf the web and send video e-mails with the camcorder. Claiming it's the smallest camcorder ever, Sony says it weighs less than 11 ounces.

The camcorder can hold up to 50 e-mails and addresses. Although Sony didn't specify in their press release, we assume that it will send these e-mails once it is connected to a Bluetooth enabled phone. The camcorder can accept JPEG, TIFF and MPEG email attachments and the camcorder will save those attachments automatically to the MemoryStick when they are received. The camcorder includes USB and FireWire ports plus it can take digital still pictures. The camcorder is expected to be released in Asia by November at a MSRP of $1,799.
