Today Sony came out with many new home theater and television products. They announced a flat LCD TV, a sleek new DVD player, a portable projector, and new speakers.

The new WEGA(R) 60 inch LCD television is widescreen and HDTV compatible. The TV looks really slick and cool, however it comes with a hefty price tag of around $8000. The television incorporates three LCD panels to make an extra crisp picture.

Sony also announced a new DVD player. The DVD Cube System can be used vertically, horizontally or hanging on the wall. The DVD player is offered in two colors, silver and black and will cost about $300.

Sony also announced speakers to accompany the new DVD player. The SA-F21 comes with two speakers and a sub woofer. It should cost around $200.

Lastly, sony announced a new portable projector. The Cineza Home Entertainment Projector VPL-HS1 features HDTV compatibility, a Memory Stick Slot, and a maximum picture size of 150 inches. The projector sounds like a relatively inexpensive way to do HDTV in the home.
